It’s been a while since I’ve been able to write a headline like that.
It isn’t that I don’t love my Linux laptop. I actually think it’s better than Mac in many ways. It’s that most of my data these days is in iCloud and that makes it much harder for me to work Linux into any of my normal workflows.
With Hugo that burden was basically insurmountable, at least for me. The extra work it took to get a post ready combined with so many things missing from this machine meant I just didn’t bother trying to use it for writing.
Coming back to WordPress changes that.
I don’t need to manage a repo anymore.
I don’t need to deal with what were, in my opinion, some really poor writing environments.
Now I can just login to this site and write and it’s amazing.
