Chris WiegmanToday is my Friday. My company, surprisingly, gives us Juneteenth off tomorrow and I took a very rare intentional day off Friday before my birthday on Saturday. While I give the chance of having to come into work anyway at least 50%, at least it’s some home of the promise of a much needed break.
If it all works out I’ll get to spend some time on this site and finding a content management system that will work for me. Hugo is great, but I’m once again reminded of why I left it in the first place… I have too much content. I don’t even try to find old posts to link between anymore and even images are a bit difficult to manage so I stay away from them. I need something that can actually manage content.
The question for that project is what will I use? WordPress is out as I need a content management system, not a design/layout management system. Maybe DecapCMS or Drupal will work. I’ll have some investigation to do either way.
Here’s to hoping it’s a productive break and I actually get to use the 4 days of it.
