A Good Weekend

I was able to spend two days without thinking of work. It’s been a while since that was possible.

We spent the weekend at my dad’s place helping him with his taxes. That shouldn’t have been a big deal but he tried TurboTax and they missed, big. I tried a second app and it worked well, even if it did take us twice as long.

Last night we went to dinner with Joy’s sisters and their families. It was a good break, even if I did decide a couple of beers were a good idea.

Today I’m back at work and already dreaming of next weekend.
