Chris WiegmanTonight all I’ve got is this short post due to finally watching Deadpool vs Wolverine.
The movie is… entertaining, I’ll admit that.
I’m so burned out on super hero movies and it hasn’t fixed that. If anything the endless references to how many there are and to how Disney owns them all is just tiring.
It’s a shame, Deadpool 2 was one of my favorite movies of the 2010s but this new installment feels old and tired.
Maybe it’s a sign that I’m getting old but if I’m going to watch a movie I want something that tells an original story. I don’t think Disney is capable of that anymore, especially with all the superhero movies.
